PACHECO, SAN FRANCISCO

The Pacheco project was the complete renovation of a historic home built in 1927. This home was purchased by a family who required complete ADA accessibility. To accomplish their goals, the home was demolished back to the wood framing, and an additional 1,300 square feet was constructed to the rear of the home for a total square footage of 4,000 square feet. The home was lifted to add a new foundation and sub-grade retaining wall system, and we added a structural steel moment frame system that is completely concealed. An elevator was included for accessibility on all levels. The result is a new, fully-accessible home with a historically maintained facade.
