The $9M Lake San Marcos hotel renovation project, now the Lakehouse Resort & Hotel, included a complete structural, architectural and room renovation of 141 hotel rooms located in seven two-story buildings. In addition to the hotel rooms, the project included new landscaping to accommodate two new swimming pools, barbecue picnic areas, upgrade of underground utilities, new road construction, front-office renovation and construction of a new entryway façade.
As the Construction Manager for this project, Abbeyside Construction (ACI) took a supporting role to the onsite construction team. Responsibilities included contract management, cost management, trade-buyouts and contract negotiations.
